Preserving our Bushland

As part of the Council administration’s promise to save 750 hectares of bushland across Brisbane, a six-acre tract of bushland in Stafford Heights has been acquired. The site at 818 Rode Road is a major victory for Council who have been fighting to save the site from development for 15 years. This land will be preserved as a home for our native wildlife – it’s all about keeping Brisbane clean, green and liveable for future generations.
